COMPANY HISTORY

Sidney Boyden founded Boyden Corporation in 1946. A management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, Sidney Boyden frequently recruited executives on behalf of his consulting clients. Seeing an opportunity to focus exclusively on recruiting, Boyden founded the very first retained executive search firm.

By the 1970’s Boyden had already established a strong US and international presence, growing to be one of the largest search firms in the world. Today Boyden is owned by the leaders in each of their offices worldwide. Our clients benefit from their keen insight into local markets combined with extensive experience working in a global economy. Our network of over 70 offices now spans more than 40 countries.
