In the attached article, Stephen McCafferty interviews Otto Thoresen, CEO, AEGON UK and senior HR figures in the Scottish Financial Services world. He explores the role that HR played during the banking crisis and the turbulence in the worlds financial markets and asks, “Could HR have done more to prevent the crisis from occurring?”
Stephen McCafferty is an expert in the identification, development and performance management of talent. He spent more than twenty years in senior roles in the public sector, retailing and financial services and now guides boards and executive teams through transformational change. Stephen has a Master’s degree in occupational psychology from London University and is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Psychologist.
