Luxury Retailers' Breakfast, Beverley Aspinall, CEO of Fortnum & Mason. Topic, 'The rejuvenation of an historic British luxury brand and her thoughts on trading through the recession'.
'The rejuvenation of an historic British luxury brand and her thoughts on trading through the recession'.
We would be delighted if you could join us at Fortnum and Mason, London, to hear Beverley Aspinall talk about the rejuvenation of an historic British luxury brand and her thoughts on trading through the recessions. Our audience will be retail Chairman and CEO, from the luxury retail market and Royal Warrants.
Beverley needs little introduction, her career spans almost 30 years in retailing. She joined the John Lewis Partnership as a graduate trainee, and worked in various roles in buying and selling until she was appointed as Managing Director at John Lewis in Peterborough in 1995. Two years later she became Managing Director at Peter Jones in Sloane Square, where she oversaw the £100m, 5 year refurbishment of the Store.
In 2005 she joined Fortnum and Mason as MD and has overseen the refurbishment of the store and the rejuvenation of the brand in the lead up to the business’s tercentenary.
The breakfast briefing is designed to encourage peer dialog and thought-leadership exchanges, and I would be delighted if you could join us. Tea and coffee will be served at 8.30am, with breakfast served promptly at 8.50am. We aim to finish punctually at 10.00am.
