Retail & Leisure Dinner for Chairmen and CEOs

Guest Speaker, Sir David Michels, Deputy Chairman of Marks & Spencer and easyjet

‘Are consumer’s buying habits changing, and is this the result of fast changing trends or the recession or both?’

Boyden and A.T. Kearney would be delighted if you could join us at The Savoy, London, to hear Sir David Michels, one of the City's most respected figures and highly regarded for his dynamic leadership methods. Sir David will ask: ‘Are consumer’s buying habits changing, and is this the result of fast changing trends or the recession or both?’

We will have an invitation-only audience of forty six senior Retail and Leisure Chairmen and CEOs, and I would be delighted if you could join us.

Champagne will be served at 6.30pm, with dinner served promptly at 7.15pm. We aim to finish punctually at 10.30pm.

Sir David needs little by way of introduction. He is currently deputy Chairman of EasyJet Plc, deputy Chairman of Marks and Spencer Plc and Chairman of London and Capital, and is also a board member of Strategic Hotels and Resorts and Jumeirah Hotels, President of the British Hospitality Association and Director of the Savoy.

Having spent over 40 years in the hotel and gaming business, he sold Hilton International (where he was Group Chief Executive) to HHC in 2006 for £4 billion, and launched Ladbrokes as a stand-alone public company. Prior to Hilton he was Chief Executive of Stakis PLC, which he joined in 1990 and sold some nine years later to Ladbrokes PLC for £1.2 billion.

We are excited about hosting the event at the Savoy, now open after three years’ extended refurbishment and the must-see new venue for London.

We look forward to your reply and do hope you can make this date. Please RSVP to Richard Hollister on richard@boyden.uk.com or by telephone 0207 389 9776.
