UK Executive Search

Phil is a Partner in Boyden’s Global Technology Practice and specialises in placing Senior Executive and Non-Executive Directors both in the UK and internationally in the technology sector.

Typical assignments are for CEOs, CFOs, Non-Executive Directors/Chairmen and Functional Leadership positions. He also works closely with the private equity and venture capital investor community to provide executive search services for their portfolio companies and has worked as an executive search consultant in the technology sector for 15 years. He has successfully completed a broad range of board level assignments, including 30 CEO and 10 Chairman appointments, for public companies and for the portfolio companies of a number of investors.

Prior to joining the executive search industry he worked for seven years at Gartner/Dataquest as Vice President of the company's European Consulting Division with clients in the IT and telecommunications industries to develop their market and global business strategies. Before Gartner/Dataquest, he spent three years managing public relations, direct marketing and corporate communications for Lotus Development (Europe). Phil's early career included four years working for Apple Computer in both the US and UK. In this role he managed the UK company's product marketing function and worked closely with Apple's R&D team which produced the Mac.

Phil graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London University.
